Bounty Hunters and a Birthday Sprite.
Bounty Hunter variants level up from eliminations, and the Birthday Sprite marked nine years of Battle Royale.
Bounty Hunter variants
Bounty Hunter sprite variants arrived on September 24, as Epic announced in its v42.20 notes. They have a chance to appear when you eliminate opponents, and they level up only from eliminations.
A sprite for the ninth birthday
The Birthday Sprite arrived on September 26 with Birthday Power Hours, which ran for three hours instead of the usual window. With one equipped, chests have a chance to give you cake slices, and at max sprite level eliminations can drop them too.
During the event, players dropped in with Presents and could find the Exotic Balloon Popper Assault Rifle. The event ended before this article’s October 19 review.
