New sprites arrive. The hunt gets a refresh.

Blinky, Crash and Pond join the hunt, with changes to Cheat Code drops and more rewards to chase.

Three new discoveries

Epic’s September 17 update introduces Pond, Crash Bandicoot and Blinky. Pond rewards a well-timed landing with a Super Jump; Crash adds an airborne spin attack; Blinky briefly cloaks you after taking damage.

A better chance at something new

Rare and Epic Cheat Codes can now produce sprites of any rarity. Epic codes favor variants and rarer sprites, while Legendary codes guarantee a variant. Epic also says your chances of an unowned variant improve as a dry streak continues.

Extracting 30 sprites unlocks the Pixel Sprite Trainer Back Bling. The Mastery Track also gains rewards, including Pixel Polli.

Still ahead

Bounty Hunter variants are scheduled for September 24, and Birthday Sprite for September 26. Those dates are upcoming at this article’s September 21 review.
