Rocket Racing creators face an October 1 transition
Epic’s latest release notes clarify what happens to racing templates and players’ Vehicle Lockers.
The deadline ahead
Epic’s September 17 release notes confirm Rocket Racing will leave Fortnite on October 1. Islands built with Rocket Racing templates will become unavailable, and template-based publishing will be disabled.
What carries forward
Epic has moved racing tools so creators can build without that template; the notes link conversion guidance. Players’ customized cars remain usable in Fortnite. The change is still upcoming.
